By the end of 2026, SunZia Wind Farm alone will be the largest wind farm in the Western Hemisphere, with 916 turbines and more than 2,700 blades generating clean energy across the State.\n<\/p>\n    <p>But wind turbine blades don&#8217;t last forever. Made from fiberglass and carbon fiber composites, they can&#8217;t be melted down or easily repurposed \u2014 and today, the closest recycling facility is hundreds of miles away from our Region.
